Tracy McOuat

Tracy was born in 1979 and started singing at the age of 5! She joined the Whitehaven Theatre Group when she was 8 years old and has appeared in 36 shows in 18 years. She has also been a dancer since the age of 16. She became a chorister of St James Church Whitehaven in 1991.

Tracy has taken various principal roles in youth productions including Pitti Sing (The Mikado) Aunt Eller (Oklahoma) The Baroness (The Sound of Music) and an adult Tess (Crazy for You). Her first show with the Operatic Society was Joseph in 1996.

Tracy's favourite show is Les Miserables. She adds " Musicals are so much fun, where else in life could you just burst into a song or dance in the middle of a dramatic moment, anywhere else they'd think you were crazy."
