Ann is 35 years old and was born in Whitehaven. She first appeared for the Society in 1978 in 'The Mikado and later the same year she appeared Pincess Ying Yaowlak! She rejoined in 1982 and has taken many soprano roles since then.

She has been a member of Workington Playgoers, Maryport Operatic Society, Whitehaven Musical Group and Whitehaven Theatre Group. Ann has served on the Executive Committee for many years and has also been Publicity Manager. Her favourite show with the Society was 'The Hired Man' and her all time favourite is 'The Pirates of Penzance'
