Elizabeth was born in 1938 in Whitehaven. She joined the Society in 1955 as Yum-Yum in 'The Mikado'. She has been lead soprano in 45 of the Society's productions and also has also taken part in many plays. Her energy and and enthusiasm is limitless and she can be credited with many of the Society's successes.
Elizabeth has been Director for nine of the Society's productions and as Musical Director for four shows. She has also appeared with Workington Playgoers. As well as being Director, Musical Director and Chairman of the Society Elizabeth has been Wardrobe Mistress and Secretary of the Social Committee. Her favourite role with the Society was as Dolly Levi and 'Hello Dolly' and this together with 'The Merry Widow' are her favourite shows.
