Lynn was born in Workington in 1953. Her first show with the Operatic Society was 'Annie' in 2001.

She has also appeared in Oliver as Mrs Sowerberry, and as Mrs. Hennessey, in 'The Liver Birds' - with a fantastic Scouse accent! She has served on the Executive Committee. Her favourite show with the Society was 'Oliver' and her all time favouite is 'Blood Brothers'
